Damascus knife is hand-forged from two different types of steel, 1095 & 15N20. The number of layers is multiplied by doubling the steel layers five times and welding them again. Our Damascus knife therefore has 288 layers and has been folded five times. This is what makes our knives so sharp, tough and hard that they last for a long time.
